One clue is that the basketball floor is never shown. If the floor were shown, you'd be able to tell how far away from the basket the performers are.

Another clue is watching one guy looking up to the basket ... he's looking up and AWAY from the camera, as if he were in front of the basket rather than just to the right of it.

The girl's job was to line up straight with the basket and to "swish" the basket as she falls down. Given the rather low resolution of the mp4, it's hard to tell, but it seems like she's passing in front of the net--I can't see any net in front of the girl, which you would see if she were passing through the net.

The girl could have still been hurt, as she had to pass very close to the basket, and she could have hit her head when "swishing" the net. But it may have just been a poor catch that caused the head pain.

It's still a great video from the appearance angle ... one that may have been submitted to America's Funniest Home Videos and been rejected.

Speaking of getting rejected, the girl's really cute. Anyone got her phone number? ;D

A couple of reviewers think that this is fake, I can't tell. If it is then it is a great fake. If it isn't then it is an even better trick, absolutely incredible. Yes, the guys are a**holes for ignoring the girl who did all the work, but that is typical and doesn't take away from the trick, just from their character. The video does what it's supposed to and that is get people to watch it, even if it's to prove that it's not real.

The trouble with determining what REALLY happened is that you can only see on TWO dimensions, not THREE. The entire group is lined up to the right side of the net AND IN FRONT OF THE NET. Shot from that perspective and at that speed, you can't tell that she is passing IN FRONT OF THE HOOP and NOT THRU THE HOOP. Download it and play it in slow motion will give you the best chance to see what really happened.
But really, folks, you aren't even thinking! The hoop is barely larger than a basketball and that would mean that she is about the size (think of a cylander) of a basketball-sized can. Forget about the flopping and flying-thru-the-air head for a moment, consider the shoulders width outside-to-outside. You are convinced they all did it because "they all sold it" including her rubbing a sore head and getting you to get angry about her risk and their ignoring her. All of this and their successfully pulling the con off makes me give them 5 Stars!

I would just like to point out to the idiots that are congratulating themselves in this video,that all they merely did was catapult the girl into the air and never taking any risk. Now the girl is AWESOME...she took all the risk!! She is the only one that could have been injured in this stunt but afterwards is TOTALLY ignored. Just goes to show that behind every good man it's always the woman doing the work!!!

I'm a guy, first of all. I just don't understand how the guys could be giving fives to themselves and not thinking about the girl. She is the first one that should have received a high five. If they hadn't been suffering from such serious jock itch, maybe they would have noticed that the girl was possibly injured. Man, some jocks and some silly girls. Also, I think had she straightened more she might have avoided bumping the rim with the back of her head.

Unfortunately there are those like the other reviewer who lost sight of their own childhood. If I remember right, all young people no matter what country they come from do stupid things because of lack of fear and life's experience. I think this video is a prime example of the risks we ALL took when we was younger. Thanks for putting a smile on my face from bringing my own memories of various youthful mistakes....

What is it about current American culture that encourages people to do really stupid things in order to get attention? If the men in this picture had miscalculated their throw of the girl by no more than 6 inches, she could have been seriously injured. Fortunately, she only slightly bumps her head. She easily could have ended up in the hospital with the idiots who threw her suffering from deep remorse or even charged with battery. These peope are complete morons!
